Thankfully, these hardworking developers know just how important their fanbase is to staying afloat. Minecraft is free, which means you don't have to be rich. The developers are encouraging everyone who wants to play and doesn't yet own a console to sign up. If you find yourself playing Minecraft, be prepared for lots of advertisements popping up, but they aren't intrusive. Instead they're simply displayed in cut scenes after specific matches.
